Living Yoga…How I Can Help You
I utilize a 7 step process to guide clients on their
path to living life to their
fullest potential…
The process involves teleseminars and group
coaching opportunities to provide you with the benefits of a
community experience. One on one coaching by telephone is also available at each step along the way.
Step 1: Practicing yoga
The first step in the process of our work together will involve helping you see where you are now and envision where you want to be. To get started, you’ll begin practicing yoga.
You can attend classes at a studio or practice at home with your own DVD if classes are unavailable.
Commit to learning and practicing yoga as often as possible! The
more often you practice, the better. Daily practice is best, but
a minimum of 3 classes a week is necessary if you want to reap
the full benefits of yoga. You’ll
discover practicing as little
as 15 minutes will anchor you for the day, energizing your body,
bringing more clarity to your mind, and connecting you to your
Soul.
Yoga seeks to integrate the parts of an individual’s life
into a coherent whole. It’s through the breath that
the body, mind, and soul are
united. Your yoga practice
is the foundation for your
healing transformation. The
way you relate to your yoga practice, mirrors the way that
you relate to everything else in
your life. So, as you deepen
and transform your practice,
you also begin to heal and
transform your life. Pretty
neat, huh!
Step 2: Focus on the components of yoga
Yoga is an 8-limbed path. The postures, or asanas, are actually
just components of one of the limbs of yoga. This
step begins with deepening
your experience in your physical
practice so that you can become
more aware of the invisible
parts of yoga. You’ll
learn more about and move through
the four layers of yoga practice:
alignment, flow, breath, and
moving meditation.
Step 3: Clearing space on the physical level
Step 3 involves starting to move yoga practice off the mat and actually applying the principles of yoga to your daily life. You’ll begin to use tools and techniques that allow you to go inward, find peace, and take that out into your daily life.
This third step involves clearing space in your body and also clearing space in your physical environment. When you practice yoga, you create space in your body. This practice can be applied to your physical environment by clearing clutter and creating spaces that are harmonious, peaceful and enjoyable to be in.
As you declutter your physical world as well as your physical
body, Step 3 involves asking
questions such as: What am I eating? Am I drinking enough water?
Am I eating healthy foods? What can I do to nurture and honor my
body?
Step 4: Clearing space on the mental level
In step 4, you’ll clear space on the mental level
by rewriting the script of
what you say to yourself
about yourself and everything else. Rewriting
the script involves clearing
away false beliefs and negative
self talk. Breaking free
of the limiting patterns of the mind can be one of the most powerful
experiences that we can give ourselves. As
the song goes, “Free your mind and the rest will follow.”
Step 5: Clearing space on the emotional level
Step
5 involves getting in touch
with what you're actually feeling
in your body, including your
emotions. Instead of just
focusing on thoughts, you’ll
learn to experience feelings
and body sensations. Yoga draws our awareness to the body,
and as we develop this awareness,
we begin to recognize and pay
attention to the signals that
the body gives us through emotions.
Once we acknowledge these emotions,
we can let them go. We
no longer have to hold onto
them (especially emotions like
anger or resentment). In this
step, you’ll learn how to let
go and express your emotions,
and you’ll learn how to deepen
your intuition.
Step 6: Nurture and satisfy the soul
Once you’ve cleared space on the physical, mental
and emotional levels, you’re ready to fill this space up
with things that nurture and support you. Step 6 involves
getting in touch with the things you love to do. What makes you
smile? What feels good? You’ll
also start doing more of those
things that nurture and satisfy your soul. This is where you
begin to fall in love with life as it becomes more and more magical.
Step 7: Say YES to life
Step 7 involves saying YES, I am available for life. This is a big YES! YES, I want to live, I want every cell in my body to vibrate at the highest level possible, and I want to be totally engaged in life. From step 7 on, you’ll be available to live your life’s purpose.
Working with me via this 7 step process will speed
up the transformation process
you experience as you move
towards living your life’s purpose.
The combination of yoga, the cutting edge approach of spiritual psychology and the ancient wisdom of shamanism allows clients to start living more fulfilling lives much faster than any one approach alone.
My 7 step process and multi-faceted approach allows clients to experience an upward evolution in all aspects of their lives. This process takes seemingly overwhelming issues and breaks them down into bite-size chunks that are easy to implement. Once you begin to have a breakthrough in one are of your life, other aspects of your life will be enhanced, as well.
As you naturally and gracefully release situations that no longer serve you and let go of unsupportive patterns for the last time, you’ll discover radiant, vibrant health and experience the joy of living!
